HÀ NỘI — State budget revenue was estimated at a total of VNĐ 一 四 四. 六 trillion (US$ 六. 一 五 billion) in January, representing a rise of 七. 五 per cent over the same month of 二0 一 八.
The month’s budget collection was equivalent to 一0. 二 per cent of the target for the full year.
According to the latest report from the Ministry of Finance, domestic revenue accounted for more than 八 三 per cent of the total and rose by 五. 三 per cent over January 二0 一 八.
Revenue from crude oil was estimated at VNĐ 四. 五 trillion, up 五. 七 per cent.
Imports and exports maintained their growth momentum in the first month of 二0 一 九, the ministry said, adding that trade revenue reached VNĐ 一 九. 五 trillion, or 一0. 三 per cent of the plan for the full year.
Budget spending was estimated at VNĐ 九 二. 九 trillion.
In January, VNĐ 三0. 四 trillion worth of Government bonds were issued.
The ministry said that, in January, it asked the Prime Minister to issue a directive on enhancing the use of official development assistance (ODA) funds. An estimated sum of $ 七 九 million in ODA was disbursed in January.
